Charlie, (who is also a lady) was another Devon in need as a result of the death of her owner, complicated by the fact that the request for help came from new Zealand!
Charlie and her much younger Devon companion both needed new homes urgently.
Fortunately the breeder of the younger boy was able to find him a new home through her own contacts; Charlie was found her new home through the contacts of the club with the agreement of her breeder and is now very happily settled with her new owner Glenys.
Kalli - a rehome success story
Kalli before collection
Kalli in her new home
Kalli (originally Corky!) was a middle aged lady who had been left home alone as a result of very sad changes in her family circumstances. She was being looked after by a kind neighbour who contacted the Rex Cat Club for advice.
Because of where Kalli was living, we were asked to become involved and visited Kalli to find out the circumstances and see what was needed. Fortuitously the Rex Cat Club had some experienced Devon owners on their list of potential homes and between us we were able to match Kalli up with her new slaves, Tim & Diane.
Delivering her to their home and seeing how quickly she took over was a great result, for both clubs!
